How To Turn Your Ability Into Cash Pt 4

Step Four: Develop a Process To Put the Plan Into Action

The fourth step is to develop a process to put the plan that you created into action. In other words, you want to set up a process which you’re going to follow in order to put the plan into operation. This is brought about by the application of Four Definite Laws, and each one is essential to the fulfillment of the Plan.

 These laws are the following:
◾The Law of Faith
◾The Law of Repetition
◾The Law of Imagination
◾The Law of Persistence
The Law of Faith: Faith is a belief in the favorable outcome of anything undertaken. Faith gives life, power and action to your plan. Faith inspires you with absolute confidence to demonstrate your plan, and qualifies you to turn your ideas into money. Prevette indicates the following: By all means practice faith.
As Huxley once said, “Faith is reason grown courageous.”

The Law of Repetition: You learned to walk through the application of the  Law of Repetition:

“When you were little, it took you quite a long time to learn how to walk. Then you finally learned by the Law of Repetition. You kept repeating the same movements every day in every way. Finally, through your own experience you acquired sufficient knowledge, poise, and confidence to qualify and perfect you in the Art of Walking. In the beginning it was a very difficult task, but once you acquired the knowledge and experience of how to walk, it became very easy.”

You perfect your plan through the Law of Repetition. Every time you go over your plan, you learn something new. You develop new inspiration, new interest, new zest and new enthusiasm. Keep rehearsing and perfecting your plan through the Law of Repetition.

The Law of Imagination: Imagination is the workshop of the mind. You begin to develop your idea with your imagination. Prevette explains that in 1886 an old country doctor, John Pemberton, created a formula. He did not know what to do with it, yet he realized that it had value. He took this formula to a young drug clerk and explained its contents. The drug clerk bought the formula from him.
What did the young drug clerk do? He turned the idea expressed in that formula over to his imagination. He visualized its value. He discovered that the contents of that formula contained all the essential elements to supply people with a cool and refreshing drink. The idea thrilled and urged the drug clerk to formulate a plan, and to put the idea of that formula into action.

That drug clerk was Asa Candler. The drink was Coca-Cola.

The Law of Persistence. You can have faith in an idea, you can perfect an idea through the Law of Repetition, you can use the power of your imagination to visualize the idea; but with all these you must carry through. You must demonstrate persistence. To persist is to go on resolutely with your plan, in spite of all opposition or adversity.
Success of any plan is like pressing out cider with a cider press. You squeeze and squeeze and it seems as though the cider will never come; and then one big squeeze and out it comes.

Persistence is the last big squeeze that makes the plan successful.

How to Turn Your Ability Into Cash Pt 3

Step Three: Create a Plan to Take Advantage of the Opportunity You Identified

The third step in the process for turning your ability into cash is to create a plan that will allow you to take advantage of the opportunity that you identified. That is, write down how you can apply your experience, knowledge, and skills to solve the problem that you identified in step two of this process.

A plan gives your idea–an image formed in the mind–a body.

A plan may ask: What do you desire? Do you desire to sell something? Do you desire a job? Do you desire an increase in salary? Do you desire clients? Do you desire customers? Do you desire to invent something? The only way to make your desire known is through a plan. It conveys to people in plain language a definite concept of what you are offering for their consideration.

A mass of material thrown together will not build a house. Every brick, every plank and every nail must have its place. The same is true in creating a plan. Every word, every thought and every sentence must have its place. A plan is organized knowledge for portraying the reasons why the thing or position desired should become a reality.

Create your plan by gathering all of your material, getting all the facts, and finding out everything you can about the thing you desire. Gather the data, organize it, and classify it. Then transform the data into a plan. Include in this plan anything that will do any of the following:

◾Improve the business.
◾Contribute to the welfare of others.
◾Add peace of mind to others.
◾Enrich the happiness of others.
◾Anything that will help you to turn your idea into money.

Present this plan in sequence, enumerate each point step by step, and try to use meaty words with a picture meaning. Use concrete terms in your plan, not abstract phrases. Make it brief, concise, direct, definite, forceful and by all means, understandable.

How To Turn Your Ability Into Cash Pt 2

Step Two: Take Stock of Your Environment – Look For An Opportunity

The second step is to use your power of observation to take stock of your environment. What opportunities do you notice? What need is going unmet? What problems need to be solved?

The inspiration and enthusiasm to invent, the inclination to make new discoveries, and the desire to improve any existing plan or thing are the result of observation. Here are three examples Prevette uses of the power of observation:
◾Robert Fulton sat in his mother’s kitchen and observed the steam rising from the tea pot. “It has power. I will harness it,” he said. The steam engine was the result.

◾Charles Goodyear observed the mixture boiling on the cook stove. It overflowed and congealed into an elastic mass. From this observation he discovered rubber.

◾Charles F. Kettering, president of the General Motors Research Corporation, was down on the farm visiting his mother. She was still using the old-fashioned oil lamps. By observing the lamp, an idea to invent the Deko system came to him.

How To Turn Your Ability Into Cash

In 1949, Earl Prevette–a master salesman and successful author–wrote a book called “How to Turn Your Ability Into Cash”. The book contains step-by-step instructions for turning your ideas into money.

This post is based on the steps which Prevette lays out in his book.

Prevette explains that intelligence is the ability to size yourself up, size up your environment, and organize your findings into a workable plan so that you may share in life’s abundance.  The process that you should follow is made up of five steps. The five steps are the following:

1.Take Stock of Yourself
2.Take Stock of Your Environment – Look for An Opportunity
3.Create a Plan to Take Advantage of the Opportunity You Identified
4.Develop a Process To Put the Plan Into Action
5.Produce An Act to Make the Plan a Reality

As Prevette would say: wealth is ideas on the job. Over the next couple of hours,we'll be looking at  each of the steps explained in detail:

Step One: Take Stock of Yourself

The first step is to take stock of yourself. That is, conduct an inventory of your qualities, skills, and abilities. Ask yourself the following questions:

◾What do you find meaningful?
◾What do you love to do?
◾When was the last time that you were so engrossed in an activity that you felt like time had stopped?
◾What are your skills and talents?
◾What do you know how to do?
◾What experience do you have?
◾What have you invested your time and energy into learning how to do?
◾What problems do you know how to solve?

As Prevette explains in his book, the most interesting thing in the world is you. The problem is that you have not taken the time to take stock of yourself, to analyze your capacities, to realize fully your strength and power, and really to discover what a wonderful creature you are. You have not made the effort to uncover the latent forces and abilities you possess.

Here’s a quote from “How to Turn Your Ability Into Cash”:
“Turn within, and there you will find your Godhead. The moment you find it you will come to a conscious realization of this great creative force with-in you. That great force, that untapped power, that dynamic something, that unconquerable soul within you is yearning for expression. It is asking for recognition. It is begging for an opportunity to lift you up and aid you to greater achievements. This great creative force within you is an imprisoned giant which when unleashed can carry you on to a success undreamed of.”

Step by step process in starting an online business Pt 3

Step 4: Use search engines to drive targeted buyers to your site
Pay-per-click advertising is the easiest way to get traffic to a brand-new site. It has two advantages over waiting for the traffic to come to you organically. First, PPC ads show up on the search pages immediately, and second, PPC ads allow you to test different keywords, as well as headlines, prices and selling approaches.

Not only do you get immediate traffic, but you can also use PPC ads to discover your best, highest-converting keywords. Then you can distribute the keywords throughout your site in your copy and code, which will help your rankings in the organic search results.

Step 5: Establish an expert reputation for yourself
People use the internet to find information. Provide that information for free to other sites, and you'll see more traffic and better search engine rankings. The secret is to always include a link to your site with each tidbit of information.

•Give away free, expert content. Create articles, videos or any other content that people will find useful. Distribute that content through online article directories or social media sites.
•Include "send to a friend" links on valuable content on your website.
•Become an active expert in industry forums and social networking sites where your target market hangs out.

You'll reach new readers. But even better, every site that posts your content will link back to yours. Search engines love links from relevant sites and will reward you in the rankings.

Step by step process in starting an online business Pt 2

Step 2: Write copy that sells
There's a proven sales copy formula that takes visitors through the selling process from the moment they arrive to the moment they make a purchase:

1.Arouse interest with a compelling headline.
2.Describe the problem your product solves.
3.Establish your credibility as a solver of this problem.
4.Add testimonials from people who have used your product.
5.Talk about the product and how it benefits the user.
6.Make an offer.
7.Make a strong guarantee.
8.Create urgency.
9.Ask for the sale.

Throughout your copy, you need to focus on how your product or service is uniquely able solve people's problems or make their lives better. Think like a customer and ask "What's in it for me?"

Step 3: Design and build your website
Once you've got your market and product, and you've nailed down your selling process, now you're ready for your small-business web design. Remember to keep it simple. You have fewer than five seconds to grab someone's attention--otherwise they're gone, never to be seen again. Some important tips to keep in mind:

•Choose one or two plain fonts on a white background.
•Make your navigation clear and simple, and the same on every page.
•Only use graphics, audio or video if they enhance your message.
•Include an opt-in offer so you can collect e-mail addresses.
•Make it easy to buy--no more than two clicks between potential customer and checkout.
•Your website is your online storefront, so make it customer-friendly.

Why You're Not Attracting Financial Abundance (And How To Fix It)

Manifestation is easy.
Thoughts lead to feelings, feelings lead to actions, actions lead to results—and those results are what you manifested. Right?
Well, sometimes ...

Other times, we try to think all the right thoughts so we can have the right feelings so we do the right things and get everything we ever wanted. But we don’t always get everything we ever wanted—which, for many of us, includes financial abundance.

Remember how I said we “try” to think all of the right thoughts? Have you ever wondered why we have to try so hard—why it often feels like we’re fighting against ourselves to think the thoughts that will bring a financial windfall our way?
Well, that’s the problem: You are fighting.
Trust me—I’ve done this work too.

1. Be aware.
Become aware of your fear around money and the ways you have been sabotaging your financial abundance. You’ve already started this process by asking yourself the questions above! You are exposing destructive (and long-held) patterns. This will help you dismantle them and put more positive patterns in their place.

2. Understand.
Understand where your thinking around money originated (by identifying specific money modeling or financial experiences from your past), and connect the dots between those experiences and any fear-based thoughts, actions, or energy you have around money. How has this tainted your abundance and success?

3. Dissociate.
Just as you might dissociate from a toxic friend, it’s time to dissociate from your toxic beliefs. By now, you’re likely beginning to see that your previous thought and behavioral patterns are not valuable, not truthful, and not actually you. Can you see that you have a choice in this present moment to think differently, to act differently, to be different? You do. What choice will you make?

4. Recondition.
This last step is an important piece of the whole puzzle; this is the work that will rewire your subconscious mind. On a daily basis, you will need to practice a series of empowering techniques that retrain your mind to respond supportively with regard to financial abundance. You’re probably familiar with a lot of these techniques already: reciting mantras or affirmations, meditating, practicing yoga, or just a daily practice of checking in with yourself and asking, “What worked today? What didn’t?”

Train your mind to think more empowering thoughts around money, and you’ll be amazed at the abundance you manifest.

Step by step process in starting an online business

There is a proven sequence of steps you can follow to guarantee your success when you're starting a small business online. I've seen thousands of people start and grow successful businesses by doing the following:

1.Find a need and fill it.
2.Write copy that sells.
3.Design and build an easy-to-use website.
4.Use search engines to drive traffic to your site.
5.Establish an expert reputation for yourself.
6.Follow up with your customers and subscribers with e-mail.
7.Increase your income through back-end sales and upselling.

Anyone, from newbie to seasoned online entrepreneur, can benefit from this process in learning how to start a business online.

Step 1: Find a need and fill it
Most people who are just starting out make the mistake of looking for a product first, and a market second.

To boost your chances of success, start with a market. The trick is to find a group of people who are searching for a solution to a problem, but not finding many results. The internet makes this kind of market research easy:

•Visit online forums to see what questions people ask and what problems they're trying to solve.
•Do keyword research to find keywords that a lot of people are searching, but for which not many sites are competing.
•Check out your potential competitors by visiting their sites and taking note of what they're doing to fill the demand. Then you can use what you've learned and create a product for a market that already exists--and do it better than the competition.

8.Focus on the abundance around you. Abundance is everywhere. The more abundance you see around you the more you will appreciate what you have.

9.Focus on just the present moment. Just be there in the moment without fear, worry or anxiety. This will help you stay focused on what’s most important.

10.Be grateful for the events and circumstances of your life. Gratitude will help open your mind to more opportunities and possibilities.

11.Try pretending that you are feeling highly motivated. Acting as if you are motivated can become the catalyst for positive action and change.

12.Take some time to breathe deeply. Breathing deeply will immediately transform you physiology and put you into a more optimal state-of-mind.

13.Move your body to get yourself out of a lazy funk. You can do this through stretching or exercise, or simply by moving faster. Develop a physiology of excellence.

14.Play with children or animals. Playtime can help relax the mind and spark creative insights. When the mind is relaxed it is more open to the possibilities.

15.Spend time watching an inspiring movie. A movie with a powerful inspiring message can become a catalyst for positive change in your life.

The Truth About Motivation

Have you ever wondered how some people seem to have all the motivation in the world, while others struggle to get out of bed in the morning?

On the one hand you have all these high achievers who appear to be buzzing with energy 24/7 doing miraculous things daily. On the other hand you have all these other people who just can’t seem to figure out why they feel so sluggish and unmotivated.

They have all these hopes and dreams for a better future, but they just don’t feel capable of moving forward toward that future. Their life stagnates and they remain stuck in a place between the dreaded reality of where they are and the promise of a better tomorrow.

Below I have listed down some ways you can find the motivation you are searching for.
The ideas presented here are in general quite easy to implement. However, being “easy” doesn’t mean that they are not effective. In fact, the easiest strategies may work better than any other motivational strategies you implement.
It’s therefore important not to overlook anything on this list.

Also, please bear in mind that some of these suggestions might not seem as though they will help boost your motivational levels, but they actually will. What they do very well is shift your focus and attention to help trigger higher levels of motivation.

1.Set big, exciting, and inspiring goals for yourself. Now take time to read these goals daily to help keep you focused and motivated.

2.Each day lay down a clear set of inspiring objectives that you will be working toward. Make sure they are challenging yet realistically achievable.

3.Set achievable personal standards that will help you stay focused and on track toward your desired goals and objectives.

4.Just decide to feel good about yourself. Decide to feel enthusiastic, energized and positive no matter what is going on in your life.

5.Focus on just being happy. Happiness will generate positive energy to help you pursue your goals.

Starting an online Business: Defining your brand

Defining your brand is like a journey of business self-discovery. It can be difficult, time-consuming and uncomfortable. It requires, at the very least, that you answer the questions below:
•What is your company's mission?

•What are the benefits and features of your products or services?

•What do your customers and prospects already think of your company?

•What qualities do you want them to associate with your company?

Do your research. Learn the needs, habits and desires of your current and prospective customers. And don't rely on what you think they think. Know what they think.

Once you've defined your brand, how do you get the word out? Here are a few simple, time-tested tips:

•Get a great logo. Place it everywhere.

•Write down your brand messaging. What are the key messages you want to communicate about your brand? Every employee should be aware of your brand attributes.

•Integrate your brand. Branding extends to every aspect of your business--how you answer your phones, what you or your salespeople wear on sales calls, your e-mail signature, everything.

•Create a "voice" for your company that reflects your brand. This voice should be applied to all written communication and incorporated in the visual imagery of all materials, online and off. Is your brand friendly? Be conversational. Is it ritzy? Be more formal. You get the gist.

•Develop a tagline. Write a memorable, meaningful and concise statement that captures the essence of your brand.

•Design templates and create brand standards for your marketing materials. Use the same color scheme, logo placement, look and feel throughout. You don't need to be fancy, just consistent.

•Be true to your brand. Customers won't return to you--or refer you to someone else--if you don't deliver on your brand promise.

•Be consistent. This tip involves all the above and is the most important tip on this list. If you can't do this, your attempts at establishing a brand will fail.

How to make money doing what you love Pt 2

3. What does the world need?

The thing you love has to fit a need in the marketplace if you're going to make money. You may love something but people may not buy it.

That’s why your business needs to be the perfect combo of your unique experiences and talents, something you love to do, AND something the world needs. You must solve a problem for someone otherwise they won’t buy anything you have to sell.

I know you want to help people and you’d prefer not to have to charge anything, but unfortunately that’s not the reality. You need to support your dream lifestyle. And think about this: The more money you make doing what you love, the more people you can serve. And this is about service.

4. Look fear in the face, and start already.

I know you've been thinking about this for years, but you're not taking action. What's really holding you back?

FEAR. This is inner game stuff.
How do you step past the fear?

•Make time for mindful practices everyday: yoga, mantra, meditation.
•Step out of your comfort zone everyday in little and big ways. It's muscle you exercise!
•Find a supportive community. You are the average of the five people with whom you spend the most time. Hire a coach, join a yoga studio or meditation class, find a mastermind group or a women’s circle.

Start before you're ready.
Finding your purpose in the world is a lot less about “figuring it out” and more about letting it “emerge from your soul.” I hear from many coaching clients that they've been spending years trying to figure out what their passion and purpose is! They usually change jobs every couple years in hopes the next one will fill the void. It doesn't. And the pattern repeats, until you finally do what you're here to do.

That’s why—as important as journaling, thinking, and analyzing are in this process—what matters more is your intuition, your gut instinct, the part of you that “just feels it.”
Follow your passions even if you don’t think you can make a biz out of it. Spending time doing activities that you love help you deepen into your heart space, the space of your soul. When you spend more time there, your offering to the world unfolds with ease.

How to make money doing what you love

It's painful to sit behind a desk inside a walled office when your soul just longs to do something creative, meaningful, and exciting. It longs to use its unique talents and experiences to do good in the world and get paid well to do it. It dreams of working from a laptop anywhere in the world.
The good news is that this is possible. It's not only possible but necessary for your happiness.

Here are some tips for getting clear on your purpose and creating a business that supports your dreams:

1. What do you love to do and talk about?

I know, I know. Maybe you're very clear on what you love, but can't think of how to make that a thriving business, or you feel so clouded that you don't even know what you love. Ask yourself:

•If money weren't a necessity, what would I spend my days doing?

•If I were out for a glass of wine with a friend, what do I love to talk about?

•What do I feel guided to click through and research online? What books am I reading?

Everything counts.

I want you to spend more time doing the things you love ... It'll make you feel good, and when you feel good, you're in the flow. Brilliant ideas come. And your soul speaks to you.
You can't think your way to your purpose, it emerges from your soul.

2. What are the major suffering/painpoints in your life?

There are people out there searching for your help. They need to know how to do something, and their pain is your opportunity to help them change something.

You have a unique blend of talents and experiences that no one else has. People feel understood (and more likely to buy from you) when they know you truly “get” them.

Have you been through a nasty childhood, a stumbled career, a bitter breakup or divorce, a life-threatening illness, lost a ton of weight, or experienced intense grief?

While these stories may not be what you want to re-live over and over again, they are the key to connecting with others. You made it through and you can help others do the same. Your unique story is the key to your business

if you need help/guidance,leave a comment below.

Reasons Why companies should start doing business online.

Not long time ago, I read a comment of a well-known industry observer, where he stated that companies that are not selling through Internet by 2007 will probably become extinct. As dramatic as it might feel, although exaggerated, but there are some truths in it.

Below I pointed out a few reasons why you should start doing business online right now.

1. New economy.
Internet has created a new economy, which by its explosive growth and sheer size already changed our perception of traditional way of doing business. In fact, studies show small and mid-size companies will be the main growth force of e-commerce in coming years.

2. Internet is a perfect venue for business.
In order to make a sale you need visitors to come to your shop. On the Internet, your shop could be only a click away from your prospective customers. With proper marketing your Internet storefront can have more buyers than you ever can get in a brick and mortar shop.

3. Company’s image.
Whether you sell products or services online or not, in today’s world you have to have a corporate presence on the Internet. Otherwise, as you must have noticed that people simply don’t take your business seriously if you tell them that your company does not have a website.

4.Make information more easily available to customers.
Just a couple of years ago, companies used to require days to deliver products or services update information to their customers. Things have changed since then. Today you can add or make any changes to your company and product related content virtually in a matter of couple of hours, publish on your site and share with the whole world.

When You’re Feeling Self-Doubt & a Lack of Motivation

This morning I didn’t feel like doing anything.
I couldn’t motivate myself to do anything important this. And I just felt bad in general.
Should I just forget about today? Should I just give up what I do, because I’m not as good at it as I thought I was?

That was definitely what I was considering. But I knew this mild depression was temporary, and so I thought about possible solutions. And then some of them actually worked — little tricks of the mind that can have a real effect on reality.

Here’s what I did that worked, in hopes that it might help you if these feelings ever come up..

1. I stopped being so self-centered.
I think we all have the tendency to put ourselves at the center of the universe, and see everything from the viewpoint of how it affects us.

So instead of worrying so much about myself, I thought about other people I might help. Finding small ways to help others gets me out of my self-centered thinking, and then I’m not wallowing in self-pity anymore.

2. I loosened my identity.
We all have this picture of ourselves, this idea of what kind of person we are. When this idea gets threatened, we can react very defensively.
My solution was to realize that I’m not one thing. I’m not always productive — sometimes I am, but sometimes I’m lazy. I’m not always motivated — sometimes I am, but other times I don’t feel like working. I don’t always have good ideas. Then it doesn’t matter if someone thinks I didn’t do a good job — because I don’t always do a good job. I make mistakes, I am less than perfect. And that’s perfectly OK.

3. I remembered that this day counts.
I only have so many days left on earth. I don’t know how many that is, but I do know it’s a very limited number. I know that each one of those limited days is a gift, a blessing, a miracle.

Sometimes taking a break to nourish yourself is a worthwhile activity, because that allows you to do other worthwhile things, but just sitting around in self-pity isn’t helpful, I’ve found. So I got up and did something.

I know some of you feel the same way from time to time, maybe more often than you’d like to admit. That’s OK. We all do. We are not machines, We are human, which means we falter, we doubt, we feel pain.

And this too shall pass.

‘Self-pity is our worst enemy and if we yield to it, we can never do anything wise in this world.’ ~Helen Keller

The Truth About Your Uncertain Life Path & Purpose

If you’re in your 20s or even 30s, you might feel a lot of uncertainty all the time — you aren’t sure what your life purpose is, or your uncertain about what path you should take in life. This is normal.
We all want to know what our driving ambitions should be in life. We all want to have a certain life purpose.

We all want to feel we’re on the right path.
We all want to perfect our habits, our routines, our productivity.
We all want to feel more certain, and perfect what we’re doing.

Let me let you in on a secret: no one is free from this struggle. Look at the most successful people you can think of — Oprah Winfrey, Bill Gates, Obama, Taylor Swift. Do you think they have it all figured out? Do you think they have certainty and a feeling of reaching perfection? Not a chance. There is not one of us alive, not me or anyone else, who ever feels certainty about their purpose or path. If they do, they’re fooling themselves. But if they’re honest, they don’t feel that certainty. No one ever feels they’ve found the perfect productivity routine, the perfect version of themselves … because it doesn’t exist.

With that in mind, I’ll make some recommendations — with the caveat that I haven’t figured all of this out myself, and that I’m uncertain about these recommendations:

1.Realize that it’s all uncertainty. When you’re procrastinating, it’s because of uncertainty (of whether you can do this). When you are jealous of what others are doing on Instagram, it’s because of uncertainty (of whether you’re getting the most out of life). When you are feeling anxiety, it’s because of uncertainty (about the future). When you’re feeling guilty or bad about yourself, it’s because of uncertainty (of whether you’re a good person, a disciplined person, as good as you can be, etc.). It’s all uncertainty.

2.Realize that none of us like this uncertainty.
We all feel uncertainty, all day, and we all struggle with it. Some people have grown more comfortable with it than others, but in general no one likes uncertainty. If someone says they do, they’re probably not honest with themselves.

3.Notice when you’re feeling it.
Being aware of this feeling of uncertainty is actually a great skill to develop. As you work on this awareness, you’ll feel uncertainty about your awareness skill.

4.Stay with it.
This uncertainty you’re feeling is unpleasant. That’s perfectly OK, perfectly normal. Don’t run from it. Instead, stay with this uncomfortable, unappealing uncertainty.Just stay, stay. Be with it, like you’d be with a friend who is in tears.

5.Turn to the moment, and find the excruciatingly beauty in it. After staying with the uncertainty for awhile, realize that you’re trying to know the unknowable. You can’t know your destination until you get there.
So instead of spinning your wheels with the unknowable, focus on what you actually have right in front of you.

This is the practice. It isn’t easy. It isn’t certain. It is beautiful.

Don't waste your opportunity

For most of us, our biggest sin is taking things for granted. I’m as guilty as anyone else.

I wake up and rush into online work or reading, forgetting to appreciate what a miracle this new day is. I’m alive! I’ve been given another amazing day, full of opportunities, and that is truly breath-taking.

I’m human, with a body and a conscious mind … and what an opportunity that is! We take this for granted, but if someone came up to you and said, “Hey, I can give you the power to make 10 people’s lives better every day of your life” and they could prove beyond a doubt they’re telling the truth … would we just pass this opportunity up without thought, and go to our favorite online social network to see what updates we’ve missed? That would be a huge missed opportunity, and that’s exactly what we’re doing each day we pass up the opportunity of being human without thought.

What kind of opportunities does being human bring us?

How about the opportunity to experience the wonders of the world, each moment bringing with it an overwhelming amount of experience that we can soak up?

How about the opportunity to investigate, explore, learn, discover, invent, create, inform, play, imagine, and build?

How about the opportunity to connect deeply with another human?

How about the opportunity to practice mindfulness and appreciate all that’s in front of us?

How about the opportunity to create your own opportunities, ones that I can’t imagine?

What does this moment offer you that you are passing by without thought? Are you willing to make the most of the opportunities of this moment, of being human?

Reasons you should work from home

Here are three reasons you should consider working from home more often if you can manage it

1. You’ll be more productive.
Worker satisfaction surveys have shown time and again that remote workers are not just happier, they’re also more productive compared to their office counterparts.

Harvard Business Review recently profiled Ctrip, a Chinese travel website. The company asked half of its workers to work from home for nine months, while the other half worked in the office. The company's conclusion was that its remote workers were not only happier, they were also less likely to quit and were more productive.

2. You can take more breaks.
On the flip side, working from home means you won’t have to deal with looming managers monitoring your every move. You can take breaks whenever you want, as long as you get your work done. Studies have shown that taking regular breaks improves overall productivity and creativity and helps you stay on schedule.

Not taking breaks, on the other hand, leads to stress and exhaustion. Ideally, you should take breaks every 50-to-90 minutes, for 15-to-20 minutes at a time. That means about an hour’s worth of breaks outside of lunch (on the low end of this range). The chances that you did that today in the office? Zero.

3. You can wake up later.
“Early to bed and early to rise makes a man happy, healthy, and wise.” I’m sure most of us have questioned this Franklinism (otherwise coffee wouldn’t be necessary). Who among us wouldn’t want to roll out of bed one hour later than we do right now?

Being an early bird or a night owl is sort of like being an introvert or an extrovert. To an extent, you’re just born that way.

For example, night owls have been shown to:
•Function just as well during the day (because they’ve been forced to adapt their entire lives)
•Remain more mentally alert in the late afternoon and evening than early birds.
•Be more creative in general (they often stay up late to have breakthroughs or work through complex problems)
•Score better on general intelligence tests I’m not saying that there are no advantages to waking up early -- there most certainly are. But if you’re a night owl, try to sleep in a bit more for your own sake. You’ll be more productive, and happier, too.

4. You won’t have to jump buses/cabs. You don’t need a study to tell you that not wasting time jumping buses every day is a good thing. But have you ever really thought about the true cost of commuting?

Here are some really disheartening stats:
•If your commute is 45 minutes long, you waste 16 days each year commuting. If it’s 90 minutes? A whole month gone, just like that. •You probably spend 38 hours a year just stuck in traffic.
•Commuting is absolutely awful for your health. Granted, you can do things while commuting (like listen to a podcast or book or read a paper on the train). But, the sad truth is that by the time you retire, you could have spent over a year of your life just commuting.

Do whatever you can to either shorten your commute or do away with it entirely.

So, take charge of your life and stand up for your own health, wellness, and productivity.

How to set up your own online Business

Setting up your own business in the current climate is tough - but the potential rewards are more than worth the battle.

How do you know it is right to take the leap and go into business for yourself?
I think you need to listen to your instinct ... there will always be 101 reasons to put something off, but my view is "Stop Talking Start Doing!" You will never start anything ... until you START
4 Steps to Starting an Online Business In many ways, starting an online business is similar to starting a brick-and-mortar store. You’ll plan your business, organize your funding, produce your product, and get to work. But, there are unique aspects of running an online-only business that would-be entrepreneurs need to consider.
I’ve laid out a few of the various types of online businesses that you might be interested in starting, both those based around existing platforms like Etsy and eBay, and self-hosted eCommerce sites. We’ll also go over the process for starting an online business, and the steps you’ll need to take to get your business up and running.
The different types of online businesses for beginners
Wondering what type of online business to start? There are a few different options, and the best type to start will largely depend on your specific business, and what it is you’re selling.
1) An eCommerce site: An eCommerce site is the most direct form of online business you can start; with a self-hosted eCommerce site, you will be selling your goods and services directly to your customers, without a “go-between” such as eBay or Etsy (we’ll get to those more later).
The best part about a direct eCommerce site is the level of control you have over your store. You’ll be able to customize virtually all the options when setting up your own eCommerce site, such as the complete look and feel of your store, but this flexibility makes the process that much more complicated, too.
Your biggest considerations with an eCommerce site will be setting up your website to offer the best user experience. Choosing the right web design is crucial, as is making sure that your shopping cart software is well-suited for your business.
2) An Etsy store
An Etsy store is, by comparison, relatively easy to set up. The format of an Etsy store remains relatively similar store to store, though you will have the ability to customize your layout a little. However, all customers will buy through the Etsy interface, and the legwork to get your site up and running is minimal.
This may be a positive or a negative to you, depending on how much control you wish to maintain over your site. The biggest consideration, aside from the lack of flexibility? Etsy is a site for creative types, and focuses on handmade items. Now, if you sell handcrafted goods, resell vintage items, create and sell your art, and so on, you’ll fit in on Etsy no problem—in fact, it might be perfect for you.
But, if what you’re selling will be mass-produced, you’ll want to steer clear; although Etsy has recently made it clear that while they allow their sellers to potentially partner with outside businesses to make their products, mass-produced goods are not welcomed on Etsy.
3) An eBay store
Similar to Etsy, starting an eBay store has some significant advantages, which are also at the same time potential downsides. As with Etsy, you won’t have to set up a website, customize your online storefront, or choose a shopping cart software—when you use eBay to sell your products, that’s all included.
However this means, like Etsy, that your customers will have to go through eBay to buy from you, and you’ll also have little control over the visual layout of your store. As with Etsy, this may be a pro or a con for you, depending on your business.
Unlike Etsy, there is no stipulation with eBay stores that the goods be handcrafted or vintage resale. However, there are still certain items that are prohibited, so make sure to look into the details of selling on eBay before you decide that it’s the right choice.
4) A site with no physical goods sold. That’s all fine and good, but what if you’re not selling physical goods, but rather consulting or other services?
If your business still needs to accept payment via your site, you’re most likely better off setting up your own website, with a very simplistic shopping cart software. However, Etsy is home to plenty of web design businesses, for example, so this platform isn’t altogether out of the question.
Steps to starting an online business
1. Plan your business
Like any business, you’ll need a plan. Your planning process should include thorough market analysis, plans for how you’ll fund product production, and perhaps a SWOT analysis to begin your planning process.
2. Write your business plan
Once you’ve done a bit of preliminary planning, it’s time to write your business plan. Unless you’re asking for funding from the bank, an investor, or have a similar “business plan event” coming up, you’re better off sticking to a lean business plan. A lean plan is quicker and easier to write, and distills your plan down to the essentials.
3. Register your domain name and set up your website
If you’ve chosen to set up your own eCommerce site outside of a platform such as eBay or Etsy, you’ll want to make sure your chosen domain name is available and ready for use. Once you’ve secured it, the process of setting up your business website begins. You can choose to outsource this to a professional, or DIY it with our handy guide.

4. Make it legal
There are a few steps you’ll have to take to make sure your business is legal. While generally speaking, the same rules apply for online businesses as brick-and-mortar businesses, there are a few subtle differences.
The most important distinction when it comes to doing business online versus in person is online business law. These laws regard the distribution of your customers personal information, as well as other privacy and intellectual property regulations.
However, while starting an online business does involve some initial legwork, the low cost of overhead and flexibility of the platform make starting an online business a great choice for many entrepreneurs.

You can make it!!!

Did you know that you were born to attract God's supply into your life? Your place of birth can never determine the totality of your success. Your thought should never be, "I wish I was born on the other side of town." You can create wealth from the place that you are standing. A closed mind can never produce the God-kind of faith that moves mountains. When you start producing faith-filled ideas, you will experience bountiful supply. When you change your perspective, you change your direction.
Have a most productive week fam..
